England Netball will celebrate 100 years in 2026. This is an ideal opportunity to celebrate all aspects of netball to be celebrated.
We would like to collate a record of staff/volunteer "legends" who have made a significant impact on our sport over a number of years. E.g. someone who has run and organised a local league, someone who has founded/coached a specific club, someone who has been a chair or administrator, National players and Coaches etc, etc. I'm sure we have many legends at National and Local level - we'd love to hear about them!
Our aim is collate 100 oral histories nationally by 2026.
If you would like to nominate a Netball South Legend, please complete the short form below by Wednesday 30th March. Following receipt of the names, representatives of the National Archives and Heritage Group will select a final 100 and permission will be requested from them to conduct an interview with them to fully capture their story. Therefore do not let anyone you nominate know, to avoid disappointment.
